Annual Charity Golf Invitational

CROMWELL, CT - June 15, 2015 - For the second straight year, GreatBlue Research held its charity golf invitational at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, CT just 1 week before the course welcomed PGA Tour golfers – including tour player Mark Wilson whom GreatBlue sponsors - and fans for the Traveler’s Championship.  Benefiting the Connecticut chapter of Make-A-Wish and The First Tee of Connecticut, all the profits of the day went directly to the charities.

While the weather was a topic of conversation leading up to the shotgun start, once Wish Kid [Adam Greenly] showed up ready to play, the atmosphere quickly shifted to one of gratitude and excitement.  Not long after that, Mother Nature did her part and golfers hit the course.

“The tournament’s venue, timing, and cause always brings people out to support the charities and to play a great course set up for a national PGA tour event,” stated Michael Vigeant GreatBlue’s CEO.  “Without the generosity of our more than 30 sponsors and 116 golfers, none of this could be possible,” continued Vigeant.
